Reimbursement reversals happen when Amazon takes back the cash payment for a previous reimbursement and gives you inventory instead.

You don’t need to map this transaction type to any account. Some sellers may have mapped reimbursements for lost warehouse items to a specific account, so this particular transaction may have been mapped to the same reimbursement account.

However, it’s not always clear what type of reimbursement Amazon is reversing.

You shouldn’t map reimbursement reversals to any account because this transaction type always involves inventory. We’ll create the proper QuickBooks Online document that’ll reflect the quantity and price for this transaction.

This transaction may also show up as COMPENSATED_CLAWBACK or  Reimbursement_Reversal on reports. They all refer to the same transaction type.
